Well, if you've ever stopped by #help for some help, then you're probably noticed `
koffeeben, `
Little-Vampire and `
Chuckskull. Maybe you've even been helped by them. Since those ticks at their names make them seem quite scary, lets have a look at what they're really like. So here are 3 people who have been infected with senioritis!
First, the basics about them.
`
Little-Vampire My name is Daniela, but most of the people around here knows me as Dany, I'm 25 and I'm a tea addict. I've been on deviantART since the end of december 2003, and I've seen my symbol change into a ` in the beginning of August this year.
`
Chuckskull I'm Tom, I'm 20 years old, I first discovered dA about 5 years ago, at the time I just wanted free wallpapers and winamp skins, took me another two years to actually sign up(I was daft enough to think it was just for artists) and I've been a senior for about 6 months now.
`
koffeeben My name is Ben Moody (Yes, I was the guitarist of Evanescence.) I have been a senior since sometime earlier this year. (2007)
What was your first reaction/the first thing you did when you saw that you had been made senior? (besides running around the room screaming)
`
koffeeben Well I didn't really run around the room and scream, but my first instinct was to call up all my friends and tell them the news, but then I realized that none of them would care because they aren't on deviantArt.
`
Chuckskull I was actually a little confused, I'm just that guy that tells bad jokes on dAmn

`
Little-Vampire Honestly? I didn't notice the change... $
hexentanz wrote me "congrats" and I didn't really know why... then she suggested me to clear the cache. That was weird.
There are 600+ seniors, what makes you the awesomest of all?
`
Little-Vampire I just don't think I'm the awesomest of all... probably I'm the one that chews most gummybears
`
koffeeben Because I am The Baron of Emotes.
`
Chuckskull Apart from being able to make any statement sound like innuendo, I'd have to say that honour goes to the seniors involved in projects like `
seniormentors and `
ArtistsForCharity

koffeeben
Do you think seniors have some sort of special mission? And if so, do you do the things you think a senior is supposed to do?
`
Little-Vampire Nah I don't think there's a "special mission", I think more that they should act as they always did before without feeling more important or anything else... it's just a symbol.
`
Chuckskull I think that all members should have a special mission, everyone has a skill they can share with the community, mine is knowledge of the site, for others it may be skill with a certain type of art or a hundred other things. Everyone should pick something their good at and enjoy, then share it with the community.
`
koffeeben I think seniors' have the obligation to act like a big brother to the every-day deviant, now I may not seem to act like a big brother, but I do, TOUGH
LOVE!!!!!!!!
In this article I picked seniors from #help. How did you end up being a #helper?
`
Chuckskull Being the belligerent git I am, I invited myself to the team and never looked back.
`
koffeeben Well, I sent a note to $
chix0r, and she said yes.
`
Little-Vampire I've been contacted by $
chix0r somewhen in december 2006. She told me that she was reviewing some people for potential helpers and asked me if I was interested. The reason why she contacted me is unknown
What do you mostly do when you're on dA?
`
Little-Vampire I start the day having a cup of tea in front of my message centre, just to check if someone left some messages, then, when I'm at work I tend to browse around and I check the forums and the News. I spend the evenings on dAmn.
`
Chuckskull Has to be dAmn, I love dAmn. I often spend hours on end talking about absolutely nothing with just about everyone, great fun

`
koffeeben I used to spend most of my time making emotes, but I don't do that anymore. These days, I am a community addict, I spend most of my time on dAmn, chatting it up on #MFMetal

, and helping in #help.

Does it take you more time to interact with the community or do your art?
`
Chuckskull Creating art has always been my weak point, I enjoy creating it, but I'm just not very good, a great example of this is my desktop screenshot, one of the most popular pieces in my gallery

`
koffeeben Seeing as I don't do much art anymore, this question is irrelevant.
`
Little-Vampire Well it depends on my mood and on what I want to create. When I'm in the mood to create something nice I might spend hours for that, while If I just want to create something silly I usually don't spend more than 30 mins over it. As for the community... I'm always around more or less (even when I shouldn't be), so I think I spend more time interacting with the community.
How did you discover dAmn and what made you stay on?
`
Chuckskull I was just bumbling around the site as usual, discovered the #hell chatroom and my social life has never recovered. I stay for the people. I cant count the number of times I've ended up doubled over the keyboard in fits of laughter.
`
Little-Vampire I was used to hang around the Shoutbox, then some of the people there dragged me in dAmn and I started to slowly getting addicted to it.
`
koffeeben I am not sure exactly how I found out of the existance of dAmn, but I am guessing it was the big CHAT link at the top of the screen.

Honest, what's the awesomest thing about being a senior?
`
koffeeben I like how I can get peoples attention better than if I were just a regular deviant. Before, people would just ignore me, for the most part.
`
Little-Vampire Honestly I don't know... when I'll find out you can be sure I'll send you a note and let you know about it.
`
Chuckskull Lording it over the ~'s
Any seniors you'd like to see in the next article?
`
Little-Vampire Maybe some of the really old seniors (old by seniorship time.. not by age)
`
koffeeben `
j4m3sb0nd, and `
eskirinabsolute

I just know he's an awesome guy who virtually lives on dAmn. I just think he's a great all round guy, he toughens up the n00bs, that's if he doesn't scare them off first time round, really helpful person and an awesome chap

koffeeben He's certainly a flamboyant ridiculously capable and positively active and contributive helper

(have I used enough big word yet?

koffeeben In the good old days, before the young Ben put on the green hat we all know him with this day, he was a new and fresh emoticonist, making his way up the totempole of the community. With a strong personallity and a good sense of humor, he was easy to befriend. With tallents in many areas, more than just his lovely emoticons showed great progress. He pointed his interests at the community, and caused a fairly big fuzz with his accomplice =sereneworx. Together, they rocked to emoticon community with fun and interesting ideas, and sometime after the big 22-hoax, we found Ben with the attached apostrophe to his name. As far as I can tell, it hasn't changed him much, but he seems to be a lot less active on DA these days. Overall, he's a great person with a friendly approach. Deffinately one worth knowing.

Little-Vampire is totally evil. She's addicted to gummybears too. It's quit scary when she's on one... tea everywhere. But underneath the addiction, and borderline tea psychosis beats the heart of a tiny gummy-bloodsucker. If you see her in chat, speak softly, and politely, and don't look her directly in the eyes.
(Seriously, she's a wonderful person, whom I adore very much)

Any last words, comments, etc.?
`
koffeeben My last words..hmm... METALCORE, AND NU METAL ARE NOT METAL. It needed to be said. One of the main things about deviantArt that I love, is the community, how people are willing to help out, let us keep that going.
`
Chuckskull I've noticed a lot of people recently who're looking for instant fame and recognition, rather than just enjoying the ride we call dA, so just a little quote from a great British artist, Banksy, for them;
"Artwork that is only about wanting to be famous will never make you famous. Any fame is a by-product of making something that means something. You don't go to a restaurant and order a meal because you want to have a shit."
`
Little-Vampire When will I get my gummybears? I answered all the questions!
That's it for this time
