Ultimate Fandom Contest 2: Book Characters

Finally! Ultimate Fandom Contest 2: Book Characters is launching NOW! After a successful first contest in 2006, UFC2: Book Characters long been anticipated! Many people submitted book suggestions and even more voted for the final list of books presented to you now! Som pick a book, pick a character, and get to work! Read on for the details:

The Great Gatsby
The Chronicles of Narnia

The Vampire Chronicles


Rules:

1.) Drawing/Painting/Sculpture/Photomanips. No writing/photographs. Make sure you have proper permissions for photomanips, and that you credit accordingly.

2.) Two entries per person! That's right! You can do TWO this time! However, they have to be for two different books!

3.) Please try and illustrate ONE character in your piece! If you illustrate more than one in your submission, we may have a hard time figuring out the character you've chosen. If you DO risk it and draw more than one in a piece, make sure its evident WHO the main character is that you are drawing. Pieces MAY be disqualified for lack of clarification.

4.) ALL submissions must have the following in the description of the deviation:
-Ultimate Fandom Contest 2: Book Characters (a link to this article if you feel generous)
- The name of the book you've chosen from the list
- The name of the character you are illustrating

5.) Note finalized submissions to ME, `ArtisticAunJuli!

6.) This goes without saying BUT: You have to choose a book from the list. You can't enter with a book that ISN'T on the list!



Prizes:

- These will be voted on PUBLICLY!
- There will be a winner for every category that has 3 or more entries!
- A one-month subscription or a dev keychain/lanyard will be awarded to the winner of each book category!
- One grand prize winner will win a 1 year subscription or the equivalent in devWEAR!
- One randomly selected deviant will be selected from the pool of non-winners for a 1 month subscription or a dev keychain/lanyard.

Deadline: All Entries Must be sent to `ArtisticAunJuli by January 25th, 2008
* All artwork must be dated after November 4th 2007.
