Is there a story behind your dA username?

The story behind my user name starts with my main account: ~pointless-noise. I always wanted a band that was called pointless noise so I just started using that for my username for everything and then I created a separate account for my nudes and I thought ~pointless-nudes would be clever and original.

What do you do?

I'm currently a student at Milwaukee School of Massage Therapy. I am also working at a sandwich shop so I can pay my bills.

What are your hobbies?

I love to write, read, photography, listen to music, watch/collect movies, and hang out with my friends.

What music do you like?

Rock, alternative, classical. Some of my favorite bands are, Korn, Evanescence, 10 Seconds to Mars, System of a Down, Tool, A Perfect Circle, Lacuna Coil.

What are your best qualities?

I am a kind, loving person, I have an open mind and I'm also a quick learner.

What are your worst qualities?

I can be impatient and I don't take criticism well.

Do you have any pets?

My roommate has 3 dogs and 2 cats.

Where do you live? Tell us about the town/city that you live in.

I live in apartment complex in Waukesha, WI. I'm surrounded by every type of store and restaurant.

What do you love most about where you live?

Being so close to everything.

And what do you dislike about where you live?

The traffic.

How did you find deviantART and how long have you been a member?

I discovered dA through my boyfriend (*vergeofsanity) I've been a member since June 25, 2004.

What is it about nude photography for you?

I enjoy artistic nude photography because it's another way to be creative and tasteful without being porno. The human body is beautiful and I love being able to show that beauty without it being raunchy porn.

How did you get into it?

I'm not exactly sure! I've always been into being my own model and photographer and I think that one day I was browsing dA and I discovered a really tasteful artistic nude gallery and I thought I should try it. And then everything just went from there.

What are your tools of the trade?

I use a Kodak EasyShare DX7440 and I edit my pictures in Photoshop 7.0.

What other genres of photography interest you?

Animals, photomanipulations, nature, fashion, dark, expressive, fantasy and glamour.

What do your friends and family think of your photography?

I have to admit, not a lot of people know about my artistic nudes shots. The rest of my photography my family and friends love.

What does RESPECT mean to you?

Respect to me means being open to anything, as long as it's not insulting, and not shunning something just because you don't know about it. It means giving something a chance without prejudging it. Respect means being treated with equality.
