This is meant to be a Tribute to our Heroes. And so is the Contest I'm running since September 22. This journal is to work as a reminder about this challenging contest (read the links above to know more about it, the tons of prizes and goodies you can get and why is it so challenging) and also to let people know that I've extended the deadline to 10.December. No one has excuses now!

Who's your Hero? - journal of details and entries




Heroes surround us even better than Dolby System’s. Among other features, they nurture our spirits through the path of life; allow our steps to turn into something meaningful for each of us and to our future; powder us with beauty-dust and ease the pain of misunderstanding, rejection and despair.








They are here to help us grow better, together, with love. They do so, much of the times, without having the self-awareness of their power and its reach; without knowing they are meaningful and helpful to someone.








They give without asking something in return, they are saviours and, sometimes, martyrs; they are inspiring and thru that they save you, either from boredom or from a life you don’t want for yourself.








They can be anybody or anything: a thought, a book, a cat, a friend, a teacher, a fire-fighter, a soldier, a writer, an artist, a school-bus driver, an actor, a mountain-hiker, a comedian, a survivor, parents (yours or anybody’s), a comic’s character, a deviant or even yourself… You get the picture already!







I think everyone’s familiarized with the saying: A Hero doesn’t need to have superpowers to be one! That, in fact, it’s not what a hero needs to have, but what he/she needs to be!
