The 3-D galleries, as you may or may not of noticed are full of miscats (miscategorizations) and this is likely because people dont understand what the gallery is for.

The 3D galleries are for digital images made in special 3D programs such as Maya, poser, softimage and others. This is stated in the gallery description for this category.
Images created in these programs use characters that are in a 3d format and can be turned around, tilted and spun by grabbing anchors.
You cannot do this in Photoshop, MSpaint, Gimp, Illustrator, Flash, Paint Shop or any other Vector or raster programs so they would not be 3D images.
Sometimes these 3D programs can be rendered as a toon render which gives them a 2D look, but they are still 3d Images because they were created in a 3D environment with a 3D program.

This category is constantly being flooded with game screencaps, MSpaint drawings and copyright violations and this needs to stop.
Game screencaps belong in Scraps, there is nowhere else they can go.
MsPaint, Photoshop and other non 3D digital drawings belong in digital>drawings
Copyright violations such as tv screencaps, stolen artwork and google images do not belong on DeviantArt at all, nor have they ever. These images will be deleted when they are found. Please report them as "Copyright Violations" if you find this type of thing.
