Budapest Keleti pályaudvar (often abbreviated Budapest Keleti pu), Hungarian for Budapest Eastern Railway Station is the largest among the three main railway stations (together with Nyugati pályaudvar and Déli pályaudvar) in Budapest. It can be found in the 8th district (Józsefváros), on Baross Square.

The building was constructed in eclectic style between 1881 and 1884 and was one of the most modern railway stations of Europe in that time. It was planned by Gyula Rochlitz and János Feketeházy. The station's length is 93 m, the platform length is 80 m, underground depth is 14 m. Source [link]

Kubuswoning, or cube houses, are a set of innovative houses built designed by architect Piet Blom in 1984 in The Netherlands. Blom tilted the cube of a conventional house 45 degrees, and rested it upon a hexagon-shaped pylon. There are 32 cubes altogether, all attached to each other.

People do live in the unusual dwellings. Since they were disturbed so often by curious passers-by, one owner decided to open a "show cube", which is furnished as a normal house, and make a living out of offering tours to visitors.

The kitchen is ordinarily shaped, but with ceilings and windows angled at 45 degrees. The total area of the apartment is around 100 square meters, but around a quarter of the space is unusable because of the walls that are under the angled ceilings. Source [link]

La Défense is a major business district for the city of Paris and the largest purpose-built business district in Europe, bordering Neuilly-sur-Seine, west of the city itself. It is centered in an ovular freeway loop straddling the Hauts-de-Seine departement municipalities of Nanterre, Courbevoie and Puteaux. The district is at the westernmost extremity of Paris' 10-km long Historical Axis, which starts at the Louvre in Down town Paris and crosses the Champs-Élysées and the Arc de Triomphe.

Around its 100 m-high Grande Arche and esplanade ("le Parvis"), this district holds many of the Paris urban area's tallest high-rises: with its 77.5 acres, its 72 glass-and-steel slick buildings including 14 high-rises above 150 m, its 150 000 daily workers and 3.5 million square meters of office space. La Défense is Europe's largest district specifically built for business. Source [link]

Camenzind Evolution, their philosophy:
"Architecture is not only the staging of the special, but the design of the
common. Like our clothes, buildings must not only fulfil practical, but also
emotional requirements. Buildings should stimulate us, make us relax,
happy, content, and keep us warm, cool, protected….."

Set in a magnificent waterside location at the heart of the redeveloped Salford Quays in Greater Manchester, The Lowry is an architectural flagship with a unique and dynamic identity. Rising from the regenerated docklands, it is a welcoming building, designed to reflect the surrounding landscapes and flourishing waterways, in its glass and metallic surfaces.

The Lowry opened on 28th April 2000, bringing together a wide variety of performing and visual arts under one roof. Opening its door to the best in entertainment and education in the arts, The Lowry aims to give everyone access to new areas of creativity and to embrace its broad community.
