Free to enter! Short Film Competition

$FallenRox:iconFallenRox: reports, November 11, 2007
Background

The Free Range Short Film Competition is your chance to express yourself on Melbourne’s own community television station – Channel 31.

It is a competition for everyone with a passion for film, freedom of speech, and expression with no limitation. So tell us…

- What makes your local community unique?
- How does your community group or school make a difference to others?
- Do you want to tell others how to ‘tune in’ to their local community?

The competition aims to provide film-makers with an opportunity to express their talents and maybe even have their film broadcast on Channel 31.

You could win some fantastic prizes in the process.

The Free Range Short Film Competition is open to individuals and community groups.

Competition Details

The Free Range Short Film Competition is an initiative of the Free Range TV and Northern Access Television (NAT) to encourage self-expression through community media.

Entrants are required to produce a 10-minute short film that expresses how you ‘tune in’ to your local community.

Entries are open to a variety of styles including documentary, animation, Vox Pops, or any other creative style.

Competition entries close on Friday 16 November.

A selection of the most interesting entries will be screened on Channel 31. A public screening of a selection of entries will be held at the Noise Bar in Brunswick on Tuesday 4 December.

Find out first!

"Whoops" is a word that should never be said by some professions - Pilots, Racing car drivers, and hair colourists come immediately to mind but Dentists also have to be up in the top five .

Never be afraid to try something new. Remember that a lone amateur built the Ark.
And a large group of professionals built the Titanic.
