Time for some fun and fruitcake my friends!
I am hosting a SEASONAL WALLPAPER CONTEST that is certain to deck your halls just right. We DO need a little holiday spirit around this place - push back these greens and show off some sparkly winter whites and moonlight blues. Show devART your vision of the perfect Holiday Season and, in the true light of giving, allow them to download it for their desktops!

You must create a WINTER THEMED computer wallpaper - I will accept Holiday themes (Christmas, Hanukkah, Winter Solstice, Kwanzaa etc) and Winter wonderland themes. Faeries, elves and other fun creatures are allowed - so are Santas and reindeers and X-mas trees, lights, angels, candy canes, snowflakes, bulbs, mistletoe - all acceptable.

Not acceptable: no adult images of any kind - this contest is for ALL ages. No depressing bah humbug images. No 'I hate X-mas' images. Please and thank you very much.

You must submit your entry in at least 2 wallpaper sizes - these are for people's computer desktops after all. We do want people to download them and use them!

Just load them as a zip file to be downloaded with the smallest as the preview image and send me a note with the link telling me you want to enter it in the contest. I will post the thumbnail here in the contest journal so people can see your beautiful work!

Some suitable sizes are 1024 X 768, 1600 x 1200, 800 x 600, 1280 x 1020, 1680 x 1050 etc.

You need to create a brand NEW image for the contest. Something none of us have ever seen before. You may use stock images, brushes and pixie dust - anything legally available. You may not alter copyrighted images and submit them as your own. Santa knows if you've been bad or good so be good for goodness sake!

You must agree that the judges verdict is FINAL - in other words - be a good sport. 'Tis the season after all!
