Alright, so welcome to yet another edition of Mini-DDs! The fun little set of features showcasing the best in DD-worthy artwork that...Um...Well, I'm tapped out here.

Look, concerning my weekly features here, can i ask for a little input concerning my writing? I mean, lately it just seems more & more difficult to come up with nine different & slightly clever ways to say "This kicks ass!" every week...

So any advice on what I can do to keep my stuff fresh? Or do you like it the way it is? Eh, maybe this is all just in my head...Maybe I'm being too critical of myself...But I guess it doesn't matter that much, since I still feel incredibly confident about the real stars here: The Mini-DDs, of course!

Speaking of which, what say we just get to the main event already? You can comment later...For now, let's just enjoy the dazzling display we have line up this week!

...My little prestigious token of appreciation for anyone who created some amazing, DD-worthy artwork. Plus it has a delicious milk chocolate center! And this time it comes with a "mystery flavor" mixed in with it! What is it? Mint? Orange? Dirt? You won't know until you bite in!

Alright now, on with the show! Here's this week's Mini-DDs...



Ah, ~spookydoom, you always know how to create the most delightful cartoons...& with 42. Uh-oh..., spooky takes a bit of a classic concept & applies her own unique style to it, creating a great piece of work with some cool character design, great colors, a nice amount of detail, & a pinch of lovable cuteness. It's a sweet cartoon, but it's all about the glasses here...



Tea Time by ~Izaart is simply just an irresistible piece of work. It's simple yet stylish, executed very well, has a nice concept, & the mix of dark colors with the happy & magical feeling it just gives off is a great combination. Plus, any Deviation featuring animated food with little smily faces on it must be loved. What can I say, it's the law.



The giant silhouette-like robot design in Back from Roboloday by ~cgad is what initially draws you to it, the cool style, how well-drawn it is, & the cool mix of colors help you admire it, but it's the standout details here - The bright red happy face & the bright hand of purses - That cinches it & make this a unique piece fo work that you simply have to fave.



At the very least, Cherry by =Luigi64 is a simple profile of an innovative character design...A lovable, literal bombshell, if you will. But it's the artist's playful style that really helps this be a little bit more, with the cheerful colors & the nice little details helping to back it all up. Besides, anything featuring a fun cartoon character with access to a crop of explosives is alright in my book...



To put it simply, RAINY by *H3AD3AD is a glorious & eye-popping piece of abstract art with a great concept, a unique style & execution, a perfect (& obviously appropriate) color scheme, & an astonishing amount of detail. Plus, it just all seems to give out a sort of "chillout" feeling...& that's the cherry on top here. This is definitely one worth faving!



Weird Eddie Valentine by =tvskyle...Okay, so it's not Valentine's Day. But that little fact definitely doesn't stop this from being one cute, sweet, & twisted cartoon with an amazing style, wicked characters, & a joyous feeling to it all. Here's hoping that Kyle eventually does end up turning this into a successful cartoon, because then he can get the mounds of praise he deserves & we can see more of these guys...



What isn't there to love about The Oven and the Stoker by *OrcOYoyo? It's cute, funny, innovative, stylish, out-there, nicely colored, well-drawn, full of detail...Well, you get the idea, there's a lot of great stuff to be said about this. But in the end, all you really need to know is that is one stunning & majestic piece of work that easily deserves a spot it your Favourites gallery.



I'll confess to never having seen ROM the spaceknight growing up (largely because I wasn't born yet), but you don't need to know much about him to enjoy ~royalboiler's unique take on him. A cool portrait of ROM as a retired '80s legend, the sweet style, characters, & colors on display here easily help make this one irresistible Deviation. Man , I wish my retirement is like this...



A relatively new artist here at DA, I really hope to see more of ~SOPINSKY in the future...Because if astounding works like Watch Yo MOuth are any indication, he's got a bright future ahead of him. Colorful & fun with a touch of uniqueness, some nice details, & a very cool style...That all adds up to create one sweet piece of work (& a very cool gallery, for that matter).
