SoCal DevMeet Christmas in the Park

reports, Nov 19, 2007This is the official beginning of the meet, so if you are in SoCal and are at all interested in going, please express your interest in this journal's comments!
If you want to attend, I need you to confirm. Maybe is ok, but if you confirm you will most definitely have a place for ice skating! I can get a group rate for 25 persons and up and reserve a block of time for the day, so the rate will be lower than what you see below BUT ONLY IF YOU CONFIRM! No guarantees for ice skating if you keep yourself as maybe!
When: December 15th, 2007, NOONISH
Where: Downtown Los Angeles area
What:
Meet up at Little Tokyo "J-Town"
Between Central and San Pedro on 1st Street
Street parking or parking structure
Congregate at entrance (I will try to have a sign) no later than 12 PM, eat lunch at various sushi and barbeque restaurants
and mingle wooo!
Move to Pershing Square for Ice Skating by 2 PMish
532 S. Olive St.
Los Angeles, CA
Ice Skating $6 for admission, $2 for skate rental, $4 for parking
Red Line from Union Station comes here directly
Confirm to be reserved to Ice Skate for a reduced price!
Move to The Redwood Bar and Grill 5 PM or later
(5 PM is when it opens)

Transportation Luckily, all roads lead to this part of Downtown LA. From San Diego you can take the Surfliner to Union Station, from San Bernardino/Riverside/Burbank/OC you can take the Metrolink into Union Station, the Yellow Line takes you in from Pasadena and the Red Line takes you directly to Pershing Square. Just keep this in mind as I iron out the details.
Please comment if you plan to attend. This is for all ages and I will try to make the "bar time" be at a pub or restaurant so that those underage can also attend, but no guarantees.
When attending a devmeet please always get your parents permission if you are under the age of 18. You must also bring your own money as I (nor anyone else) will not pay for you.
