reports, November 20, 2007Get Acknowledg3D is a weekly news article that features pieces that fail to rise above the ranks of mediocrity, as far as popularity goes and also to feature some of the best (in our eyes) 3-D Art around DA. This article's goal is not just to give those pieces and those artists attention but it's also to turn the community's eye on the 3-D category which ,itself,is underappreciated.
Questions&Answers :
Q: What's 3-Dimensional Art and how can I make it ?
A: It's any piece of art made with ,entirely or partially, a 3D model, or render, if you will.
Q: What's a '3D model' ?
A: A 3D model is the result of 3D Modeling. 3D Modeling is the process of developing a mathematical,wireframe representation of any three-dimensional object (either living or inanimate).
Q: What programs can I use to make 3D models ?
A: The major ones that you can use are : Blender [Which is free], Cinema 4D, 3ds Max, Electric Image Animation System, Poser, form-Z, Houdini, Lightwave 3D, Massive, Maya, Modo, Silo, SketchUp Pro and zBrush. The rest that you might find are minor programs that focus on certain aspects of 3D Modeling (lighting,animation,etc.)
Q: I want to suggest a 3-D piece as a Daily Deviation but I don't know who to send it to.
A: Send it to ^MistressWit, the 3-D Gallery Director.

I decided to choose a different approach to the Weekly Features and feature ~VG-Chriz. This particular deviant does the occasional modeling but he specializes in 3-D animation. His work is smoothly executed,very impressive and certainly would remind you of games you've played in the best and some your probably play now.
