What is the Ultra Tournament?

It was a comic I made every year in colaboration with my friends who also drew and had their OC, it was about a fighting tournament in which the Original Characters of different drawers (me and my pals)battled to see who was the champion. The battles where absolutely funny, humorous and with an overdose of action. There were 4 of them 1999, 2000a, 2000b and 2001. When I lost contact with my pals the series ended forever(?).


The new UT - The Massacre Returns!!!

I am in deviantart!! In the 5 months I´ve been here I´ve discovered so many talented artists with their own Original Characters, original ideas, original stories. I think this is the perfect chance to begin a new Ultra Tournament, who will also be the first comic I make in Deviantart.
Now i´m calling all the Deviants with their own OC´s to enter this match, don´t be afraid! you now you can win!! It´s time to show what your character can do!!

Conditions & Rules

IT´S IMPORTANT TO READ THIS:

Want to see your character fighting other OC´s in a fighting tournament?

- To enter you only need to register your character, sending me a link to a picture of anykind (coloured, inked, sketch) with a quick description of your character. You can reply here, in my journal [link] or send me a private message. Don´t worry if it´s a short or undetailed description you´ll be able to make it better when the UT begins. I´ll reply any received message and your character will be registered.

-I won´t accept character text descriptions they are hard to draw, only pictures.

-2 characters per person allowed

-The character has to be an ORIGINAL CHARACTER, not copyrighted anime, comics, TV or Video Games characters, must be your own creation.

-Character must be able to fight, this means he has to be a fighter or warrior or magic user or strong enough. We don´t want to see a 14 years old Emo boy fighting and enraged Werewolf!!

-DEADLINE to register your character is December 5.

-Character limit in the Tournament is 32.

-Anyone kind of character can enter!! Anime, Manga, Cartoon, Comics, Flash, sprite, Original style, good, evil, dark, magician, superhero, fighter, warrior, ninja, human, elf, orc, faerie, knight, kickboxer, white, black, red, purple, religious, atheist...(You got the idea, right?)

THE TOURNAMENT
Once we have the 32 contestants the tournament begins, it will be a comic (or manga, whatever) drawn by me, (I hope to have some colaboration). And uploaded to DA.

-In each submission, the comic will feature 2 characters fighting, one loses and the other wins and advances to the next round.

-I don´t have any idea of the time that it will take, but i´m a quick drawer, it probably will take several months.

WHO WINS?

Anyone!! This is the best part, I also made this in the original tournament. The winners will be raffled!! Totally random!! The purpose of this is that all the contestants has the same chance to win, and there is no favoritism. It also makes the story more dramatic, because no one, not even me knows who will be the champion.

CHAMPION
