Sea of Faces

Faces are simply amazing, aren't they? Each face is different, and on every face there's a whole different set of expressions individual to its owner, yet with many common elements. Each expression tells a story, but it may not be the one we imagine!

I thought it would be fun to compile a Sea of Faces, no just human ones either! Here goes - you never know, you might just recognise yourself!!!

Do You Recognise Yourself?

Appeal on behalf of a little Girl called Maria Kisilenko

is trying to help raise the money that's required to complete treatments that are required for this lovely little girl, who will otherwise die from a fatal disease called NEUROBLASTOMA.

HERE is the English translation of the site about Maria, and *LuvEnder is holding an auction from her profile page of several of her artworks, which include two originals, so that she can send the proceeds of these sales towards the funds that are required.

There are some beautiful pictures there, so do please 's page, and join in the auction - let's see if we can make a big difference to Maria (Masha), which is actually a matter of life and death!

Please be aware that everything has had to be translated with the help of (and I helped put the medical terminology into a more understandable format), also that *LuvEnder has had to learn from people such as how to go about doing this auction, so if you have looked at this page earlier, there have been new things added, such as dimensions of the images, starting bid prices and so on.

Also, I believe it's possible to make donations directly to Maria's site, but I'm not sure how this can be done until that page containing the details has been translated. Please note *LuvEnder if you would like to help that way and she should be able to give you the necessary information.
