An Earthly Crisis
Fact: Petroleum based fuel is becoming scarce. (Gasoline is just one example)
Fact: There are substitutes for energy. (Wind, sun and water are some substitutes)
What we need to do is undeniable. We need to find a unlimited, clean carbon based energy source, and now. Scientific theorys have constructed a chart, by the next decade there will be no more petroleum fuel, other energy sources will disappear soon after. We have a problem and we need to fix it.
Fossil fuel, greenhouse gases, the ozone, global warning and what caused the monster named the human being. We are the ones digging our graves as well as the planets. Now, we all know there are other clean energy sources, but for some reasons we think of these solutions as pitiful excuses for a reason to take down the big time sellers of gasoline and fossil fuel. But wind, water, solar and the use of black earth are all trying to put a slowdown to the consumption of fossil fuel. And hopefully save the earth for anther fifteen years or so. If we just except these alternatives we may hold out long enough to find a final solution. We also can find solutions for the much smaller issues such as surface disruption, ozone holes, ocean pollution, deforestation and livestock poisoning. Every one of these problems are being handled every day and son we will come to a answer for all of them. And the more we corporation the quicker these issues get completely handled.
The biggest of all environmental hazards is the automobile. Now first they tried to make more environmental. There are converters that make the carbon dioxide less harmful but its still harmful. Next they tried to replace the entire power system. Instead of fossil fuel they used electric battery power source. But although it was a good solution humans stuck with automobiles because of the speed, comfort and popularity. Industries do not want to give up on whats selling good. Because of the benefits. Then come fuel cells although undeveloped these power sources are the way of the future.
The other power sources are wind, giant light weight material pinwheels the that by mother nature spin the turbines of generators. Solar, postvocalic cells that convert sunlight into heat that turn water to steam witch turns the turbines of generators. Water, at a high pressure and speed water is pushed though a vent into another holder. And in the vent it turbines of generators. Black Earth, Mulch, wood chippings and old fertilizer are burned to make heat that turns water into steam which you guessed it turns the turbines of generators.
All power sources wind, water, solar, and earth are good substitutes. But it sill dose not solve the full problem. We all can help by giving since time to find a permanent solution. Since is breaking boundaries every day. Two months earlier a German economist found a solution for the building of fewer oil drills there by making the ocean a bit more cleaner. Small fixes like this are very good indeed. They place the courage and motivation to find even more solutions. And if we were able to hold out long enough to solve the oil drill disaster. We can surely hang on long enough to find that everlasting resolution to the planet we call home to save the planet called earth.
You say theres no problem. If you look at ten hottest years ever measured theyve all occurred in the past fourteen years and the hottest of all was 2005. In august of 2005 hurricane Katrina slammed into New Orlands. The scientific consensus is we are causing global warming. Is it plausible to prepare against other threats besides terrorists. The answer is emphatic yes. There are out there other threats besides people. If you love your children, If you value your future and if you love your life and the planet you live on. Then youll ride your bike to the bank instead of driving, youll toss toughs cans in the recyclable bin, you will think twice before leaving ever electronic in your house on.
It is time to be a part of the search for a final solution. It is time we tried to save our home. The objective is simple. The obstacles are enormous. It is time to try. We have to act together to solve this global crisis. Our ability to live to breath to walk on this planet. Our lives are what is at stake.

the only way to fuel the planet effeciantly would be to switch the whole world to nuclear power. like, tomorrow. it's already too late, all good breaktrhoughs (like the electric car) are killed off, hybrid cars aren't even denting the problem. we don't need to REDUCE greenhouse gasses, we need to STOP all emmisions and REMOVE them from the air or we're all fucked.
which isn't happening. we're too busy with stuff like this, al gores movie, and (red) clothes and 'enviormentally friendly' product XYZ. people are totally aware of whats going on, we dont need more awareness, we need immediat action and noones willing to do that.

Try for posting only carbon-friendly nature photography. Walk, bike or carpool to your next shot location. Anything that reduces your environmental footprint.
Ken Kaufmann, author of one of the quintessential US bird guides said that no birder should add a species to his or her list without doing something concrete to protect that species. I feel the same about photography. Before you publish a photo, give the subject some environmental royalties by giving back (or at least taking less!).
And as for R3D-R's post:
Without optimism, nothing will get accomplished. Slowing the problem is certainly a step in the right direction, even if it's not an immediate reversal. the only way to change world society is with baby steps. We may be too late to avoid many perils, but if we continue to make progress, we'll at least end up with a livable planet.

To your response to R3D-R:
This is what I'm trying to do, slow the problem and raise awareness of the issue.
