We were invited by *createbyweek to be the official cheerleaders ~ mainly because we've been involved almost from the beginning and all three of us regularly pimp and advertise the weekly contest as much as possible! So ... as the newly appointed Createbyweek Cheerleaders, we'd like to introduce ourselves, and thought it might be fun to let you know how we each discovered *createbyweek and showing you our first ever submissions!

"The way I found CBW wasn't very exciting. I was already watching ^Hanratty-Stock at that time, and I think she wrote a journal entry about it. I had entered a few contests previously, and thought it would be fun to try something with a required image. My first entry, which was sadly too late, was:



So I got my act together for the second week, and the result was:



I haven't missed a week since. Sometimes I'm throwing something together at the last possible second, but the challenge and the creativity required to use the image in as many ways as possible has never gotten old."

"This is my very first manip for create by week:



I don't even remember how I came across create by week!! I do love it, it is fun, it lets me be creative, I love seeing what people make with the mandatory stock! It is amazing to me all the different ideas people come up with! I think we are very lucky and privileged to be a part of this community, and deviant art as a whole! There are alot of really good people here as well as fantastic artists!"

"My very first manip for CBW ~ done way back in April this year ~ I laugh a lot when I look at this now



I found out about CBW in April via *quaddles ~ she had a link on her journal, which I followed, and thought it looked like fun. I was a definite newbie at the time and had only done a couple of manipulations before that. I've submitted entries every week since Week 2 and we're now on Week 30! This has helped me improve my skills as a manipulator. Also it's been a fantastic way of meeting new friends ~ two of my favourite friends being my fellow cheerleaders I also have a stock account *gild-a-stock and have been one of the createbyweek stock providers for several months and give a prize texture pack to all the winners"

We're always on the lookout for new deviants to enter the contests, plus we desperately need more stock providers ~ especially those with male model stock as we have a surfeit of female models. If you'd like to be a stock provider, please send a note to *createbyweek and add them to your watch - that's all there is to it
