reports, November 26, 2007 Since everyone that's "normal" (*cough* assholes *cough) seems to think that gay and lesbian relationships are completely horrific and sinful and whatnot, let's take a moment to see who all was gay, shall we? =]
Sappho: Impactful female poet renowned in Greek history...was lesbian
St. Paul: One of the Apostles who, in the Bible, claims that he bore a thorn in his flesh [this was his suppressed sexual desire]
Alexander the Great: King of Macedonia, conquerer of the known world, overthrower of Persian, and the bishounen of his time period. His lover's name was Hephaestion who accompanied him on his warfront.
Richard the Lionhearted: King of England during the Crusades. He paid no attention to his wife and instead spent most of his time with Philip, King of France.
Leonardo da Vinci: Painter during the Renaissance who was beautiful and charged with sodomy in his youth
Michelangelo: Sculptor and painter during the Renaissance who's painting of Zeus and Ganymede (gay lovers as well!) was for his nobleman boyfriend.
Handel: Music composer (best know for the Messiah and its Hallelujah chorus) who was gay
Tchaikovsky: Ballet composer (best known for the Nutcracker) who was gay
Lawrence of Arabia: Military strategist and author whose boyfriend was named Salim Ahmed
Gertrude Stein: Author and most famous lesbian of her time. She met with Pablo Picasso and Ernest Hemingway

Now please, before you consider your argument of why homosexuality is wrong (It's love; What's the problem?), please consider the fact that many people believe women were inferior to men and now we women are fighting back over the years for our place to prove that we are equal. Homosexuality is not a crime, just like it's not a crime to be Asian, female, old, Caucasian, Black, Hispanic, male, young, purple, or Caveman.
