The Broome Review is a first-year literary magazine that will be coming out in May of 2008. The Broome Review is a new national literary magazine that seeks to bring further local and national exposure to the Broome County, NY arts community by attracting writers and artists of many genres from across the country and across the world.


The journal promotes cultural development in and outside the immediate area through the creation of a wider audience for the works of established and emerging artists. They are currently accepting submissions for visual arts (as well as literary work!)!

The Submissions will be reviewed by a panel of artists and the accepted works will be hosted on the Broome Review Website with contact information for the artists. Any medium is acceptable! There is no limit to the number of sumbissions, but please keep in mind that we are looking for proffessional looking work from emerging and established artists, 18 and older. Deadline for recieving work is January 31.

Submit digital entries (72dpi 1000x1000pixels max please, jpeg, Tiff formats preferred) to thebroomereview@aol.com with your name, a brief description of the work, and your contact information.
