Hey-o! Here's the first of what I'm hoping/planning on becoming a semi-regular series of features highlighting fantastic fanart - the kind that doesn't hit the Popular page in five seconds. ;]

Since I'm incredibly greedy, the theme of the first feature will be my current favorite, Naruto. :B

In case you've been living under a rock for 5-or-so years, Naruto is basically about a teenaged ninja with a giant fox monster stuck in his belly - and fanart featuring him and his pals flickers in and out of the front page like a horny lightning-bug on crack.

Here, however, are some quality pieces I've found, all with (Last I checked, at least.) under 100 favorites each. Their areas of excellence range from pure technical skill, to gut-busting humor, to overall G'AWW adorability. Whether the sight of Naruto fanart makes you squeal with glee or seethe with hatred, you've got to admit - there's some real gems in here. :]



AND HEY. If this is going to be a series, well, I'm going to need some more fanart to feature. I hunted all these down on my own, but I'm only one girl. (Or, going by my weight, three-fourths of a girl. :B)

So! If you've stumbled upon any OHWOW-quality fanart lately, send me a note with a link to it! (Notes ONLY, please, I want to keep things private and managable. :])

I plan on featuring fanart of the anime/manga series Bleach next time, so if you could focus suggestions there, that'd be great. :]

SOME RULES/NOTES/SUGGESTIONS:
- Please make sure the deviation you suggest has less than 100 faves. Even if it's very good, the goal of this feature isn't to showcase art with 1,582+ faves.
- You MAY suggest your own art, but please only do so if you think the image in question REALLY, really deserves to be here.
- I might not include some suggestions due to quality/too-many-faves/overcrowded feature list. If I get a TON of suggestions that qualify, I might pull a two-parter. :[]
