reports, November 29, 2007Ok ... Some of you know of Ryan, his mum is a deviant here. Ryan is just a little boy, going through a TERRIBLE ordeal & battling a cancerous tumor @ the fragile age of 1 yr old. You can read his entire story @ *RyansArmy .
I've taken the time to put together a big charity scrap kit ( in my yahoo groups) Once all the contributing members finish their pieces, this kit will be sold online, and all proceeds will be given to Ryan to help with costs of his medical ordeal. I've also contacted a top hospital here in my state (Rainbow Babies & Children) to see if there is any way I can try and get even more help for Ryan.
Do i know the parents & Ryan? No. Infact, until visiting & reading `ClaireJones's journal the other day i knew nothing about Ryan. Why am i doing this? because im a mum of 4 who knows just how crappy insurance is these days, and i hope that if anything ever happened to one of my kids, i'd want to know that in my time of need, i could turn to friends and even those ive never met before.
So after doing some more thinking and trying to figure out how we can come up with more help for little Ryan, ive decided to start Project Ryan's Hope here @ my gallery. Every print I manage to sell, every penny will go towards Ryan. Here is where you come in. If ANY of you are willing to donate Prints to put in my gallery to help with Project Ryan's Hope, please please PLEASE drop me a note and i will get your donations uploaded to my gallery, print sale enabled on it... and every penny accumulated from your print donations will also go to Ryan. I plan on leaving this Project open for the next year. Constantly asking for and adding donations to my gallery.. So, if you want to help... please dont hesitate.. the more the better.
So... ill close this little note, asking for print donations.. and if someone knows how i can get dA to re-route any profit this gallery makes, to Ryan's parents somehow, please let me know.
Please dont be afraid to pass this on to friends. The more people who know and want to help, the bigger turn out we get for Little Ryan.
