My main purpose in doing a monthly feature about (to my point of view) 'the best visual art' is to put in the same level as well wellknown artists and popular creations as unknown artists and under-exposed creations.
Artists need to be supported.
So don't be shy!
Visit their pages, support them by faving, commenting, and when you see a deviation that you like also view their gallery entirely, like that you can decide if you will devwatch them or not.
Viewing only a deviation (what is great) is not enough
And if you want to see your favorite visual artists or art selected to be in this feature for the next month, send me via note the links/thumbs!

reports, December 2, 2007Hex's eleven strikes again! With an assortment of deviations that I'd like to share with you. 
A clever gag for the chemistry nerds out there.
In all of the Pixel fighter ID's, this one stood out to me. The pixel pose and the dramatic portrait both reveal ~marimbamonkey14's talent.
~MrZobe was one of the first people I met when I first came to dA, and this picture is proof of how much his style has improved. Get to know this unpredictable character!
Like a good children's book, this has a lovely style and very readable characters.
This is especially funny for me, because a friend of mine pulled a very similar prank. Enjoy ~Wyliman/=Zorgia's detailed panels and fun characters.
I remember watching the progress of ~imaginism's creature at CGSociety, which houses the work of the world's most talented digital artists. I can only gaze in wonder at his skill, as well as the skill of the hundreds of other members.
`Cedarseed is well-known for her tutorials, and for good reason! This one is as complete, simple, and informative as they come. Valuable knowledge for artists of any shade.
Cue the theme song! Don Coyote come to save the day!
I found this with "Random Deviation" and was sincerely surprised. (Try finding something this good with the randomdev button and you'll know what I mean!) Very dreamlike colors and perfectly composed.
Brilliantly captured emotion! I wonder who our captain will meet next?
Now this is a perception of Santa that truly resonates with people. Read all of ~noistar's description.
So this Christmas, always consider the gift of art a possibility.
