Allo allo people of DeviantArt!
I will be holding an OC Tournament that will take place throughout the strange locale known as Byako City where artists will have the chance to develop there art style, creative prowess and develop there magnificent characters!

This tournament will have 216 open slots and run like no other tourney seen thus far in Deviant Art.
We welcome anyone to audition for the chance to be in our fine tourney and by the time we are through many an artist will have gained something from this match. Experience and the chance to meet other great artists.

Now you all are probaly wondering a couple things so i will try to answer them before you can ask ^_^

Firstly a few of you are probably wondering what an OC tournament is
Well with the help of a few friends I put together a little series of examples

Secondly a number of you are probably curious as to what a round robin is.
A round robin is where you rotate the opponents and have you fight each of them in turn
Example:

Oponents:
A-1
Bee
Sea
Dean
Ea
Eff

Match 1:

A-1 VS Eff
Bee VS Ea
Sea VS Dean

At the end of the match like a normal tournament wins will be counted but the losers will not be pulled out, instead....

Match 2:

A-1 VS Ea
Bee VS Dean
Sea VS Eff

Wow! They rotated!
After the matches are completed a winner is declared from the person with the most wins.

But wait, how can someone possibly hold a round robin with this many people?
That is where the tournaments true uniqueness plays its role.

We will pair up people within smaller brackets and the winner of those brackets will move on to higher brackets as the tournament progresses until we finally have a winner
(Note: that diagram is just an example and not the actual format of the tournament)

Auditions will end january 28th and the matches will begin febuary 3rd
