TRANSLATION CHAINS 2, 3 and 4 are GO!
Chains 2 and 3 are underway, and promise to be as fascinating as the first. We have Afrikaans and Hebrew added to the list of languages, which is wonderful. Keep an eye on the main account for progress updates on Chain 3.
Results will be published in a news just before Christmas.

What is TranslationChain?
The Translation Chain is a fun experiment in observing the way a piece of writing undergoes changes during many translations.
Each month a new piece of literature will be translated from one language to another through a "chain" of people, with the results being announced in a news report.
The aim of this project is to help deviants from around the world get to know each other, as well as encouraging greater interest in language and writing.

Is this a club? How do I join?
TranslationChain is not a club, but a project. If you want to join in, simply send us a note stating what languages you are fluent in, and we'll add you to the list of available translators.

Do I have to be great at translation?
At least a basic level of fluency is required, and there will be events for all skill levels throughout the year.

How often do these occur?
We plan to run at least one translation event every month.
