yayy! i hope you all enjoy this newsletter issue! if you're interest in my next one, (in which the theme shall be fruits, crazy water macro reflections, and dragonflies), please send me a note with your piece(s)!
A collection of the most beautiful and amazing square photographs I found among my favourites. Please have a look and give these artists the attention they deserve!
This is part four of my weekly feature: Undiscovered. This is a feature of people I come across on DA who I feel deserve way more recognition. It is quite astonishing how many wondeful artists on DA go unnoticed. Please give them your support!
My little girl is so magical. With a smile she can brighten my world. The glow in her eyes when she tells one of her stories melts away all of the day's problems and concerns. For me, having a child and being able to participate in her life, watch her grow and absorb the wonders of the world, completes me as a human being.
For my latest journal feature I am presenting a visual essay on children -- works by DA artists that beg to ask the question, "Is there anything more pure, more magical than a child?" Breaking up the photos are lyrics from Neil Young's brilliant song about children, "I Am A Child." If you want to listen to Neil's song while viewing the essay, right click on [link]
Please fave and comment on works you like -- it is the least we can do to honor the efforts of these amazing artists!
Hello there! This news article is the result of a thumb share thread I posted few days ago on the dA forum along with pictures from my favorites. I hope you enjoy them.
Undoubtedly, the wedding day is an unforgettable moment in our lives. And what is important in life will surely find its reflection in photography. Wedding and a bride, the most beautiful one on the most important day in her (and not only her) life.
No matter if this is photojournalism, art or conceptual photography, the theme of brides is not uncommon among DeviatnArt artist. Bride, a muse for photographers.
Yet, there are different approaches to the subject of brides. Should she be happy, or maybe there is a shadow of hesitation lingering on her face? When will the bridegroom soon appear? Or maybe he never will?
Let's have a look at how Devious Photographers picture the brides.
Great, somewhat selcouth choice of pictures. From ingenuos to sophisticated.
I may not think very of the institution of marriage, and my wedding was mostly wearisome, but weddings usually look great, and the bride is the most important part of that look. I also like this one picture reminding that white, western-style dress is not a world-wide tradition.
I would add one more photo, though. Some fashion-type shot of bridal lingerie would make selection more complete.
Thinking about your dress perhaps?

for I shall not change."
I guess there are many more pics that might have been added but I didn't want to overcrowd the article with too many images.
Not thinking about my dress yet considering providing wedding videography services
-- I'm a warrior. And as a real warrior I wear my scars proudly. They represent the battles I won.
A brand new monthly article which showcases some of deviantART's finest equine artists, as well as recognizing the lesser-known but equally talented ones. Interviews, helpful tutorials and features can all be found here too! I hope you enjoy it.
The idea of this contest is to set you up completely blind with a mythical being - from any world culture - and turn you loose to come up with a deviation based around it!
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More
