Spotlight on: Catboyry

Welcome to this *deviantoftheyear feature, this time focussing on *catboyry.

*catboyry is a deviant from the United States who has been on the site since 2006. He is a member of the #helpers team on dAmn and is an extremely helpful forumer, regularly spotted in the Suggestions and dAmn forums. While not making moves on a grand scale, like many of our other nominees, *catboyry quietly achieves his means, and we've probably all at one point used his help.



*catboyry is probably best known for his friendly, helpful attitude towards others. It can also be said, that despite his quiet nature, he is probably one of the most knowledgable deviants about what's going on around the site. And of course, he shares his knowledge with those who need it. Whether that be in #help, or even when someone asks a question in #devart. If *catboyry is there, he's one of the first to supply an answer. Not out of competitiveness with others, but his actual genuine desire to help others.



An amusing fact about *catboyry is his signature states that he is the dAmn Forum's resident non-misposter. A title which he has actually earned due to the high volume of other users who do mispost within that forum. No kids, it's not a dirty word, it's an acronym. His threads are usually informative and fun. The topics are various and include If You Could Rename dAmn and others.
