The first edition is not completed yet but there are five categories released already. How to be added to the list?
You can nominate other artists or yourself to be added to the list. Send your suggestions to my notes and I will review the galleries of the respective artists.
What are the Criteria to be added?
- High skills
- Professional execution
- Top render quality
- Professional settings
- Fancy, inventive and imaginative concepts, themes and characters
- Original and unique styles and techniques
What does not qualify for TOP Artist?
- Copied characters invented by someone else
- Paintings based on traced photos
- Colorings of other peoples works
- Plain popularity
You think you are qualified...
But you are are not listed? That can have the following reasons:
- You have only a few pieces in your gallery.
- You are not very long a member of DeviantART.
- I don't know your gallery.
- I am just in a different personal opinion.
You can suggest yourself to be added to the list at any time. Send your complaints and questions to my notes and I will reply to you with my honest opinion.

If I fav and run, it's because I like it and don't have any constructive critique, get over it.I don't like the idea of people been named "the best" I mean who has the right to same someone is better them someone else.
I think its a little hmm I dunno.. But I don't like it..
Its like not being a community, because the club is saying "These people are the best don't give a fuck about anyone else they arnt good enough so don't matter"
I dunno I'm strange like that lol I think everyone should be treated the same. It doesn't matter if someone is "the best" artist or not. everyone deserves the same attention crit, comments and understanding.

If you have seen the lists you will know that there are not only popular deviants. I try to select after the quality standards I have given in the article, not after who is popular and who not. Which doesn't mean that someone who is popular can't qualify for the list.
