I decided to Run a forum thread for a themed news feature. The theme was Christmas or winter Artworks. I am sure every year Artists on DA and around the world get in the Christmas spirit and want to project that spirit in some way. Whether it be paintings, Photography, Drawings, Digital Art, Or Music.

Ever Since I was a little kid I have always felt the true magic of christmas. And before getting into photography I could only admire others' works of art dedicated to Christmas time. So I decided to do that this year again And submit some of my own works pertaining to the Holiday season as well. My aim for this news aritcle is to try my best to capture the Christmas Spirit with the use of words and works. So grab a cup of hot chocolate and wrap up in your favorite blanket. And enjoy some Christmas Spirit!

A Snowflake gently falling in the breeze lands on the shoulder of a chubby worker as he sweeps the fresh powder off of the sidewalks, in a downtown district of a big city. All around the city there are people walking in the brisk December wind, humming a Sintatra tune. They pass by storefronts with candles in the windows and wreathes on their doors. The people smile and laugh as they walk in a winter wonderland. The tires on the cars of shoppers make a crisp crunching sound as they pass by, rushing around to get their last minute christmas shopping done.

The old men sit in the gas stations cafe drinking coffee wearing their musky flannel shirts damp with snowfall, talking about their wives at home baking cookies for the Church Christmas Program. As they watch the folks outside fill up their cars and trucks with gas, the buzz of snow mobiles wisk by, and the old men complain about how fast they are going, but they are cheery all the same.

A dad tucks in his children for bed for a winter slumber, and reads them "Twas the night before Christmas" for the first time, The Childrens eyes light up with wonder as they envision Santa dropping off presents at their house on Christmas Eve.

On a winters eve an elderly lady sits in her easy chair by the window. While drinking a cup of hot chocolate she watches the snow fall against the brightly lit christmas ornaments on the telephone poles running down main street, And she feels the magic of christmas come over her.

Christmas Musicals, Festivals of lights, Christmas Carolling, Sitting by the fire watching the snow drift outside the window. The christmas reunion of family and friends. The rich colors of red and green. Making Snowmen. Reading about the birth of Christ.

All of these dreams, stories, and warm feelings embody the christmas Spirit. And I hope This year they Find you, and Find you well... through your Holiday Season. Merry Christmas Everyone. And a Happy New Year!
