reports, July 16The winners of the Breaking Free contest have been announced! Amongst the entries were a daily deviation, a news feature and many stunning pieces of space art. The aim of my contest was take a piece I had rendered in Vue 6 and manipped a smoketrail into, and "spacify it" - that is use it as a stock to make a space related piece of art.

Information : I, Matilda, am holding a creature contest. To enter, please use stocks, paint, pencil art, paint, or any other material you can imagine, even poetry will be accepted to create a creature of your own making. That means no Naruto, Sponge Bob, Hamataro, or any cartoon character like that. Make it your own. It could be based on a show, like A sea creature supposedly on Naruto or spongebob. Write a poem or create art that shows your creature.
Rules:
1. It must be your original creation.
2.Must be submitted for this contest, can not have been in your gallery months ago.
3. Must be submitted by January 1st, 2007. The new deadline.
4.Judges have the right to disqualify any entry.
5.No profanity.
6.Judges will judge according to following the rules, originality, and how appealing it is to them personally.
7.No haikus.
8.You may not judge AND enter. You can however donate a prize.

he Snakes of Glanmorgan
The snakes of Glanmorgan share a strange trait,
They don beaks, not fangs, and claim eyes of hate,
Not feathered, bejeweled, glorified or starred,
They are the creatures the Welsh country marred.
Their home is not Wales, they choose to abide,
In the shadows of light where hope has died,
These snakes are the wretched curse of the land,
If truth be told, they belong in the sand.
Stalkers of darkness, they creep up on flocks,
Of innocent sheep that the snakes still mock,
For their pure and natural state of mind,
Sheep fear this snake and all of its kind.
Their tongue is of static, a shock to give,
Any being defied the right to live,
The snake shall strike with a morbid leer,
Paralysis is the true killer here.
Memory lives on of their murder spree,
Not to be forgotten, true tragedy,
For they shall slither and slide back to Wales,
The nightmare snake coils in the darkened vales.
