The club

is holding a contest.
Theme:
E M O T I O N S
Every photographer that whishes to enter the contest can become a member of the club and participate. The way the club is organised is unique.
The club is a rather new club that started out that opened it's doors on october 10 this year and is growing steadily.
Photo4People is a club, dedicated to good and high quality photography.
That means not all submissions will be submitted into the clubs Gallery.
This club is somewhat different from other clubs as they use a system where the members can decide which photo's are good enough to be included into the clubs gallery.
To be added to the club's gallery you have to go through several phases.
Phase 1 (Submission):
Members can send us their deviations from Monday to Friday.
At first we will display all photo's that are submitted by the members in our journal.
Phase 2 (Voting):
During weekends the members are asked to vote and give out 1 to 5 points to the deviations that they prefer.
Phase 3 (Adding to the clubs gallery):
The 10 deviations with the most points will be considered chosen by the members as the best photo's and will be submitted to the clubs gallery.
Background
Since this is a members choice, the choices are independent from the personal taste of admins and judges. It is a democratic process that validates the taste of all members who take the trouble to vote and the membes have a great deal of influence on the direction the club is going and the content of the club's gallery.
If you want to enter the contest or are appealed by the philosophy of the way the club is working please feel free to join up. To do that you have to add the club to your friends and send the club a note with "join" in the subject line. For more information you can read our club rules here
