The farm where Hewlett Packard was founded is preserved.
And Richard Nixon’s house is a museum.
But the house where Superman — one of the world’s most recognized heroes — was created? It’s a wreck.
So, with the creation of The Siegel & Shuster Society, we hope to raise enough money to repair the house and make sure it will be saved, restored, and there so you can take your kids one day.

Bill Melendez Has Passed Away (1916-2008)

reports, September 3Jose Cuautemoc "Bill" Melendez started off as an animator for Disney and Warner Bros during the 30s and 40s, and later he moved on to UPA where he produced various commercials.
But he's most well remembered for producing (and sometimes directing) the Peanuts animated specials, where he also provided the voice for both Snoopy and Woodstock.
RIP Mr. Melendez. Your works will never be forgotten.

How would you like to work on a published comic?

How would one of you lucky people like to produce the artwork for a five page comic which will be published in Murky Depths? If you've not managed to read an issue yet, I thoroughly recommend it if you're a fan of horror, fantasy and science fiction. [link]
As with Erth Chronicles [link] the anthology has appeared in ImagineFX and is a superb publication to have your work showcased. The bonus is, you will get paid - although it's not superhero money, at least you will recieve what can only be a bonus to see your artwork in print.
If you are interested, drop me a note or email and I shall send you the script. Some people I know better than others - but if you wish to send a sample piece of artwork based on the story that would be a huge help in the decision making process.
I have plenty of other short stories and scripts, including Erth Tales that will need working on, so this is a fantastic opportunity to show me once again what you're made of.
I look forward to hearing from you.
