The farm where Hewlett Packard was founded is preserved.
And Richard Nixon’s house is a museum.
But the house where Superman — one of the world’s most recognized heroes — was created? It’s a wreck.
So, with the creation of The Siegel & Shuster Society, we hope to raise enough money to repair the house and make sure it will be saved, restored, and there so you can take your kids one day.

Bill Melendez Has Passed Away (1916-2008)

reports, 1d 11h agoJose Cuautemoc "Bill" Melendez started off as an animator for Disney and Warner Bros during the 30s and 40s, and later he moved on to UPA where he produced various commercials.
But he's most well remembered for producing (and sometimes directing) the Peanuts animated specials, where he also provided the voice for both Snoopy and Woodstock.
RIP Mr. Melendez. Your works will never be forgotten.

reports, December 19, 2007Today will see the release of the third issue of Steve (30 Days Of Night) Niles and Ben (I Luv Halloween)Romans Cryptics via Image Comics. Contained inside this spooktacular issue the will be art by up and coming talent of the SatelliteSoda variety.
Said talent includes Robert Iza, Kris Anka, Vidar Cornelius, Shane Long, Fabian "Monk" Schlaga, Dave Igo and myself, alongside the usual Cryptics styling of Ben Roman whose "Old Debts" story is embellished with some freaky colors by Kyle Foster, plus a four page story with art by Billy Martin (of Good Charlotte fame) and some great pinups by Josh Hoye, David Murdoch and Sean "Cheeks" Galloway.
