Success Stories

There are many authors out there who started writing at a young age.

In the Forests of the Night by Amelia Atwater-Rhodes – Written when she was 13

Eragon by Christopher Paolini – Written when he was 15

The Outsiders by SE Hinton – Written when she was 16

The Icarus Girl by Helen Oyeyemi – Written when she was 18

Frankenstein by Mary Shelley – Written when she was 19

An Eighteen Year Old Looks Back On Life by Joyce Maynard – Written when she was 19

The point is, you can pursue a career of writing at any age, and people find success in different places. Maybe one day you’ll be lucky enough to see your name on the cover of a book, or a magazine. It doesn’t necessarily have to be now, or later. If you work on it, you’ll get there.
