Lately I’ve been informed of too many car accidents; it’s everywhere, anytime, all the time. You don't have to look far, just write in the dArt search - car accident, and see how many results you'll get.

Just two nights ago two girls died in a car crash just outside my neighborhood. At the age of 25 and 24 they were too young to die. Every time you hear about such a sad event, happening here so close, you can't stay indifferent.

I don’t want to think about it happening to you, but if it happened to you or if you happened to be an eye witness, here’s a quick list of things you should know/do:

1. Try and stay calm.
2. Determine the extent of damage/injuries
3. Do not move anyone who’s been hurt!
4. Call the police.
5. File a car accident report with the police.
6. Discuss the car accident only with the police.
7. Get the facts from everything and everyone around.
8. Don’t forget to call the insurance agency.

So please, wake up and watch out when you’re there behind the wheel or near it. And do not drink and drive!
