Now, you may be asking yourself why this newsletter is coming from me and not `conorschild. Well, in essence he thought it would be funny to unload all this work on me in the busiest month of the year. Granted, I was intelligent enough to actually accept. But you're not here to hear about the pains (spending vulgar amounts of money on this hotel computer internet, doing everything but drinking espresso and looking out onto the sea ) I'm going through to get this issue of the newsletter to all you people.

Forum Awards - They're Over! Nominations have been made, voting has ensued. Now all we have to wait for is `conorschild's lazy ass to publish the results.

Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels - That's right! You can now use the lock symbol as the symbol for your forum threads. This is the latest trend, everyone wants one. All your friends will envy you if you have one, so go out and get one. It's worth the the time and you'll be cool. Like me.



Gossip:
The Wombat Disappearance - One of our favorite comic artists and forum mods announced a leave of absence. My detective senses tell me that this has to do with a certain incline towards heterosexuality. In fact, I put my money on matrimonial arrangements with his lovely fiance *Chia-en. Here's what the man himself wrote:

The Marmalade Scandal - One of the oldies on the forums (and contributor to some of the most notorious and epic threads ever to come out of deviants) and great street-art emancipater was demoted from Gallery Director to Senior to Beta-tester. =truemarmalade apparently divulged a slight bit too much about the inner workings of deviantart, violating a Non-Disclosure Agreement. This resulted in $Moonbeam13 demoting him to Senior status. =truemarmalade responded by publicizing the communication between the two of them to which $lolly responded by taking away =truemarmalade's senior status. Fortunately, both sides appeared to be able to shrug off this incident relatively easily, merely inciting others to get into massive debates.

PLZ Accounts or How I Learned To Stop Worrying And Love The Combos - As a reminder, avatar combinations of plz accounts are allowed, as $lolly states here. However, we should try to limit ourselves to 9 accounts max and even then, these are on thin ice as the ~gtfolock1 combination has shown.
