I've spent days going through 2007 fractal galleries, month by month... and it was tough to narrow down a final list. I've done it though. Those of you that play around with fractal programs know very well how difficult and frustrating it can be at first to figure out exactly how to create something beautiful. With that said, I believe these artists are the "cream of the crop" so to speak and deserve recognition. Yes, some of these fractals are actually not accidents. It takes skill. I've chosen works based on these criteria:


1. Quality
Rendering is soooo important. Nothing is more disappointing than seeing something that looks amazing in small view, only to let you down with a pixelated mess in full view.

2. Gradient
Ugly color? Messy colors that don't match? Not here.

3. Uniqueness.
These are not your ordinary spirals. These catch your eye, make you want to learn the art of fractaling. They make you say "Wow."

4. Overall Beauty.
Eye candy that even people who don't LIKE fractal art can enjoy.
