It seems we’ve emulated life’s variety of colour since early cave dwelling days.
From the depths of the ocean, the subtle hues of flowers, sunrise to sunset. Artists have used what ever means possible to obtain the pigments necessary to interpret the world around them.
While modern day technology has reinvented the wheel, via pixels, artists remain driven by the raw essence of earth upon their fingertips.
This last feature, of a sentimental journey, celebrates colour in its many forms.
Although it is by no means complete in the massive contributions to this cyber gallery, these few have crossed my path.
