=ssecret, ~gabbachoo and `Doubtful-Della are hosting a photography contest. The theme is:

BEAUTY IN UNEXPECTED PLACES

RULES

Submission must be a new photograph taken in 2008.

Deviations must be submitted in the proper DA gallery or they will be disqualified

Deadline: February 29th 2008 12:00 Midnight EST. Winners to be announced soon thereafter.

You are allowed up to 2 submissions. You may either have one submission in the form of a diptych (two photos put together either vertically or horizontally) or two seperate deviations from two different shoots/themes.

In your discription you must note that this is an entry for our contest and either link to our journal or NEWS article

Digital image adjustments are allowed like colors, textures, burning, dodging, levels, curves, blemish removal, healing tool etc. The liquify and other filter options are allowed, but please keep it to a minimal. All image edits must be stated, and actions/textures used must be disclosed in the discription.

Digital image manipulation like the removing and additions of whole objects is not allowed. We don't want images that look like paintings or manipulations; we want the images to be photographs.
