Normally, when you browse an art site, (and here is no different) your eyes may more likely be more attracted to digital art. All the fancy graphics and lighting really makes for a very appealing piece of art. Traditional art, though loved, is not as appealing to the public as digital art, because of the lack of these features mentioned before. However, it is my opinion that traditional art is slowly being less appreciated. This is not a rant, but i think it is rather unfair in a way for many traditional artists who try to make their art known to their respective community and their art is being ignored by many people who browse around. Not that I'm bickering, but i think when art is being browsed, at least some attention should be given to traditional art. They can be just as beautiful as digital, but in different ways. Black and white art may have just as a good story to tell as the colorful cometitor. Feelings are expressed in these just as the other. So i appeal appeal to you readers, next time, explore the world of art in the traditional way. If you do once in a while, then great for u! Continue! If u dont or rarely do, then i say you are missing out on a lot. So try it, it's a whole other world.
