Anti Gravity and Interstellar Space Travel

=projectvxn:iconprojectvxn: reports, January 13
Anti-Gravity, Faster Than Light Travel, Massive ships traversing the stars in a fraction of a blink of an eye. Sounds like far-fetched sci-fi. But very soon, it may not be.

Dr. Evgeny Podkletnov has developed a device capable of generating a gravitational pulse so powerful that it can flash-deform metals
and punch holes right through concrete walls, and still maintain a near zero energy loss ratio. Best part is, there is little to no beam divergence.
Which means this thing is accurate, very accurate. Dr. Evgeny Podkletnov's research is based on the theory that gravity fields can be manipulated.
If you can manipulate the gravitational field around an object, then you can change the gravitational properties of objects, such a space craft, or,
in the case of his experiments, brick walls up to 5 kilometers away with a yet to be tested range of 100 kilometers, can be blown apart by the force
projected alone. The pulse has another interesting property, Even after hitting targets, it doesn't lose kinetic energy. There's also no recoil produced
by the release of force. Which mean this could be just as much a feasible means of interstellar or even intergalactic travel ... As much as it could be used
as a weapon.

Dr. Evgeny Podkletnov's “gravity impulse generator” utilizes a Marx-Generator discharge through a superconducting emitter in a very powerful
magnetic field to create a wave in spacetime with properties very similar to gravity-waves. There's alot of technical jargon which I will refrain from using,
But the figure in all of this work(published in Low-Temperature Physics), is '64c' Which is essentially the most important figure out of all.
It means that propulsion is possible at 64 times the speed of light, but only with a constant flow of energy sufficient and proportional to the mass of the
object being propelled. Which is where the cost/benefit ratio comes in. The Marx-Generator based device using 5 million volts produces these
effects within the confines of our atmosphere...But in a vacuum The effects would be different. Here on Earth, the pulse produces no propulsion
only a gravito-kinetic force. In space, where there is nothing holding anything down, this gravito-kinetic energy is produces a wave that the space
craft could ride in the opposite direction of the pulse. Thus creating a feasible means of space travel.

It is this deviants hope, against all that I know of our nature, that we use this new technology as a propellant of peace. For the potential for evil is very great.

I like it :) but actually "It is found in practice that these particles become heavier and heavier as the speed of light is approached, and hence need greater and greater forces for further acceleration", so the flow couldn't be constant but increasing with the speed

Hmmm... Greater force as the particles get heavier huh? I always thought about using the gravitational force of a black hole to power a massive electro magnet... Perhaps this energy could be applied so we could make it to the hordehead nebula and then build a generator around the black hole... The idea would be like a nuclear bomb in that the nodes would have to be evenly spaced around the hole and that they would be superconductors... Converting the gravitational energy to electricity would be interesting... I think if the magnets were charged opposites the pulse would sorta create its own generator though... Electromagnetic fields are supposed to be stronger than gravitational fields so the magnets should draw a current out of the black hole and getting that to the Marx-Generator would be the part I'd leave to someone else... Well... that's an idea at least. /shrugs

Sure but if you use a phased magnetic field strong enough around the vessel, theoretically you could create a field of warped space around the craft that would null the effects of accruing mass as ones kinetic energy increases. But this would also require massive amounts of power.. Fact is, the propulsion system is there...But all the other factor are not.

Before creating something like this we really need to create a good energy power source, the problem is how, Antimatter might work, but to do it you real need a big waste of energy first

=projectvxn:iconprojectvxn: Jan 13, 2008, 7:20:32 PM Mood: Love
I have a great imagination...But black holes are an altogether different phenomena. As you approach the accretion disk of a black hole, time starts to dilate. Closer and closer and the tidal forces tear you to pieces before you get further torn molecule from molecule. That said, light cannot escape the gravity of a BH. Neither can electromagnetic phenomena. Anything generating an EM field would would be shut down from the massive amounts of radiation, in the form of x-rays. With out massive shielding...You're pretty much dead, and your equipment is fried...This is technology best left to the future...About 10,000 to 20,000 years from now.

The gravity pulse device has been created with great results. Minimal power is required to emit this gravito-pulse. My journal has the scientific paper liked. If you wanna dig into this.

Well... I know that BHs work as a sort pulse... and I know that the speed of light has been observed to have slowed down over time measuring the angle of it being bent by the particular BH I mentioned... Magnetic force is greater than gravitational force... The cosmic rays would most likely be a big problem... I don't know how to get around that... What I know about BHs is that they are supposed to pulse like a womb... I was thinking of this for traveling through a BH at one time because the only way to make it through would be togo faster than the speed of light... obviously... That might not be a feasible form of power yet :( I do wonder about converting gravitational force into electromagnetc force though... Thank for posting this... I found it terribly fascinating :)

The future could be bright, but with the people in current positions of power, the future is very bewildering. Imagine if this technology were to make it into the wrong hands? Although, its seems that the world as we know it, is already near exhaustion, this new technology could possibly mean the end is nigh.
