A Thread from AnimeOnline.net caught my eye a while back. It was titled A Thread from The Ethics of Lolicon and Shotacon. And it really got me thinking. I read every single reply to it, (WHICH I SUGGEST YOU DO TOO, AT LEAST TO GET A VIEW) and I really wish I could have gotten in my 2 cents. But of course the thread was closed because of no activity. So after a while of still hearing ignorant remarks from a number of people, I took i upon myself to re-post this thread. The words are not that of my own lips but that of which I will stand by till the end. Read this and please put in your own (intelligent) opinion.
(for any inuyasha fan)to make it short Shonen Sunday on their 34 vol they will announce something big about inuyasha. it could be about anything but hopefully the restart of the anime series. lets just wait and see.
Welcome back to another round of Young Anime Artists! Each month I feature several talented folks in the gallery ages 13-18. The features come from my own choosing, suggestion from the community and shameless self-promotion!
Featured Artists
*Qinni, the artist formerly known as ~o0littlehands0o, contantly puts in me in awe with some fantastic CGing skills and amazing watercolors.
=hizuki24's work looks like it could be featured on video game covers across the world. Hey, why isn't it already?
And now on to your regularly-scheduled features!
Make sure to visit our featured artists and give them some love!
Want to be featured? Know someone who should be? Drop a note to ^azarath.
Lovely pictures as always and I hate to say it but there are older artists out there who need some love too. °-° Quiet a lot in fact and it always feels like everyone over 18 isn't woth it.

That's not true... I do other features but this is the one that gets me the most feedback. That's how it got to be a monthly thing. This is the internet and there's a lot of kids here, it's a fact.
I'm working on other features from artists of all features, look for them in the upcomning weeks.
I just think it's a strange thing that people under 18 get so much attention. Yes, their art is great but they have it a lot easier because there is so much stuff around nowadays, an easy way to look things up. Others started earlier, most people didn't even know what manga was back then, but because they are over 18 it feels like people think it's nothing great what they produce. Gah, don't know... -_-
Maybe I am just too old for this... I start to feel my stuff doesn't belong on DA anymore.

It's not like we're writing off older artists or saying their art is worthless. Hey, if you want older artists to be featured, then by all means write some articles! And I bet most artists on this site don't even list their age; a good artist could be 13 or 30 and we wouldn't know. This is just one featured article out of many on this site, I wouldn't worry roo much about it.
I was wondering if you could feature more people every month :3 Because seeing awesome art inspires me <33 ^w^

Silnar's a scary demon. Very, very scary! Actually no. She looks human and lives at Earth. But why does she look human? And why wont anyone tell her? Read the manga?
Oh, I am not saying you guys write off older artists. You are doing a great job. ^^ I wasn't aware that normal users can write articles. °.° How does it work?

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
Spencer Kelly visits the Royal Albert Hall to see a digital graffiti wall where you can virtual spray paint to your heart's content and email the results to yourself.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More
