Animaru!

Welcome deviant to the new world of Animaru!, where the inhabitants of this world are created through the magic of your creativity. The great Elder Elementium who’s job is to keep balance and harmony in this world left behind a set of simple rules for any new Animaru! Apprentice (that’s YOU!), who would want to breathe new life into this world with their own creations.

Creation Stage Phase 1.
Choose your species of Animaru!. The great thing about this is that the sky is the limit. You may choose up to two RL (Real Life) or fantasy based animals at a time. (Tiger, Horse, Wolf, Dragon, Fairy etc.) If you chose two creatures they will fuse together through the magic of your creativity and will become one. Please note that your creature must be in Chibi (Super Deformed) form.
E.g. Choosing a Wolf and a Tiger now becomes a Wiger
***Animaru! Apprentice Note – Morphing animals will give you bonus points towards your Animaru! Point Status which will be explained later on***
For those who still don’t know what Chibi means. It means making the head, feet, and hands huge and making the body smaller.

Creation Stage Phase 2.
Choose your Animaru!’s Elemental status. The great Elder Elementium grants each Animaru! with one force of elemental power that you may choose from his Pool Of Elements. The starting selection is (Fire, Lightning, Aquatic, Earth, Light, and Dark)
E.g. now we have our Wiger let’s give it some Elemental Power. For the sake of it looking unbearably cool, I’ll have to go with lightning.
***Animaru! Apprentice Note – When drawing your Animaru! Giving it a physical appearance that matches that of its elemental status will give you bonus Animaru! Status Points e.g. putting Lightning bolt shaped stripes on our Wiger’s Fur***

Creation Stage Phase 3.
Give your Animaru! Some SKILLZ. Because nothing is as it seems, and bad things are bound to happen from time to time The great Elder Elementium demands that each Animaru! is given a special technique to defend itself, harnessing its elemental powers. You also need to explain this move in your Artists comments.
E.g. now we have our Shock-Wiger, we need to give it something to kick ass with.
I’m going to give it the technique, Furious Thunder.
“It charges up large amounts of static electricity in its fur whilst in a furious rumble with its opponent and unleashes this power only when there is a physical connection between him and his opponent (lesson to learn, don’t touch the wolf-kitty)”
***Animaru Apprentice Note – You may gain bonus Animaru! Status Points depending on the originality or your Animaru!’s technique***

Creation Stage Phase 4.
Give your Animaru! a name. Finally, but you might be asking yourself. “Why give it a name now and not earlier?” We’ve made it this way so you can name your Animaru! appropriately based around what you’ve created so far.
E.g. Shock-wiger finally gets a name! And we shall call him *drum roll* Torookami which is a mix of the two words Tora and Ookami which translates from Japanese to English as Tiger and Wolf.

Creation Stage Phase 5 “Final”.
Give your Animaru! it’s infamous catch phrase. Muahahah! This is where things get REAL personal. Giving your Animaru! A catch phrase or taunt can show a lot about its personality. Now it’s up to you whether or not your Animaru! speaks a human language or not. It may just make a random “Nyu” or “Rawr” kind of noise.
E.g. our little Torookami is now set for defending itself. Now let’s give it some attitude. He comes across an eager opponent, Lets start off with corny taunt before we begin the fight.
“I prefer shock tactics to actual violence but you leave me no choice”
***Animaru Apprintice Note – the wittier and cornier the catch phrase or taunt, the more Animaru! Status Points you’ll earn***

Animaru! Status Points.
This is where it all becomes more competitive. Animaru! Status Points are given out by the judges who at the moment consist of Ludichrist and Pookerskull. The more Animaru! Status Points you have, the better your chances are of winning competitions hosted by either Ludi’ and Pook’ on DeviantArt.
