Hello one and all. I do hope I'm doing this correctly. It's my first time doing a News submission. After hanging around dA for some time I have come to realize that there are many talented writers here who do great works but are also great artists. I am currently working on a tournament which will be open to all fic writers. I, Shiro-VII, will be the host and I'm looking for a committee of 10 people to be judges and there will be slots for 64 contestants. Oh yes, it will be quite big. My goal is to raise awareness of the varying forms of artists and their abilities on this website. Many of us can paint a beautiful picture with acrylics as well as words. Plus, you can have some fun in the process.

The tournament itself will be a story in and of itself, as well as a brawl. Think you have what it takes to survive the corrupt Committee, claim the prize and make it home safe? This tournament will test your writing and wits to the fullest. My hope is that there will be a greater appreciation of the varying forms of art here on dA. if you think you're up to it, then I welcome you... to the Immortal Tournament.

Our prizes will also show our artistic abilities. If you're interested in being an illustrator for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes or if you're a writer who would like to write a one shot fic for the place winners, send me a note and let me know. If there is another way you'd like to contribute to the prizes then send em a note anyway and we'll gather some ideas. I look forward to seeing a variety of people attend, have fun and sharpen their skills. To the contestants... I wish the best of luck!
