The “Coloured in One” contest rules!

Using images that I have chosen from certain stockists (images are shown below), participants must vexel their chosen image all in one colour – for example, if you chose green as your colour, you may use any shades of green you like as long as the whole picture is done in green.

The entries will be judged on technique (how neat the vexelling is – ie, smooth curves, etc) and use of colour (how well you have used your chosen colour to portray your chosen stock image & suitability of colour used – ie, that you only used one colour).

You have to use one of the 15 stock images provided.

You MUST credit the stock artist in your artist description. This is a rule!
Also please take the time to let the stock artist know that you have used their image, I’m sure they’d love to see what you’ve done with it

You’re welcome to add a simple background such as the one in the example picture I’ve provided, but this is by no means a necessity. Any background picture you do must be vexelled (not a photograph added or filtered, etc)

Linearted vexels are welcome.

You may not use gradients on the subject, but you can on the background.

You cannot enter a greyscale image - that doesn't count as "colour"

You may enter a maximum of 2 vexels, but you can only win once!
