FRACTAL TIPS: Here are a few helpful hints from fellow fractalists!(If you have any other general tips that can help the Fractal Family, send them to me!)

1.) Patience, Patience, Patience - Don't lose your cool, some
of the most awesome fractals start out looking like a big mess.
2.) Tweak - Don't be afraid to play with your fractal,
tweak everything, it helps you learn what does what.
3.) Save often - this is a must when tweaking, everytime you get
close to something you are trying for, save it. This way a tweak
in the wrong direction can be corrected with relative ease.
4.) Moving - Zoom in/out, turn, twist, and manipulate your fractal,
I have found some beautiful pieces hidden in what looks like an ugly mess.

This is not exactly about how to make a good fractal,
but more about how to make a good fractal, look better.
Many newbies don't pay attention to the composition of their fractals.
In my opinion, that makes their work look less attractive for the viewers.
When you have made a fractal you're pleased with, lean back and look at it for a while.
Is there anything special you want people to look at? Does it look like something that
would catch your eye between 25 other fractals? Is it visually appealing to you?
I prefer to place my pieces a bit off-center, because I think it looks more appealing.
Centering pieces doesn't always work out well, but sometimes it's necessary.
I think that most of the rules that apply to photography, can be used in fractals too.
