Works in a series give the artist the ability to show more than just one perspective or emotion in a work. Working in such a way can also allow the artist to show time which can be difficult to show in just one panel.

This month's Nightmare Collection is built around the Seven Deadly Sins - a much-explored concept in art, a warning for the pure of heart and a to-do list for the darker souls.

The featured images are from:
Photography --> Horror & Macabre
Digital Art --> Photomanipulation --> Macabre & Horror.

:stab: PRIDE
Pride is excessive belief in one's own abilities, that interferes with the individual's recognition of the grace of God. It has been called the sin from which all others arise. Pride is also known as Vanity.






:stab: ENVY
Envy is the desire for others' traits, status, abilities, or situation.






:stab: GLUTTONY
Gluttony is an inordinate desire to consume more than that which one requires.






:stab: LUST
Lust is an inordinate craving for the pleasures of the body.






:stab: ANGER
Anger is manifested in the individual who spurns love and opts instead for fury. It is also known as Wrath.





:stab: GREED
Greed is the desire for material wealth or gain, ignoring the realm of the spiritual. It is also called Avarice or Covetousness.






:stab: SLOTH
Sloth is the avoidance of physical or spiritual work.

That one freaked me out a little too. There's something fundamentally wrong but disturbingly appealing about needles that close to eyes.
