Ahh, time for another fine edition of Mini-DDs! The little feature showcasing artwork so good that it...Er, well...Makes your eyes melt out of joy? (Hey, they all can't be gems here, people.)

And so what else is there to mention? Well...Nothing, actually. This is really another one of those weeks where I just don't have much Mini-DD or artwork-related stuff to talk about. Of course, that may not actually be a bad thing for those of you who just want to get on with the actual Mini-DDs already...So let's get going, then!

...My little prestigious token of appreciation for anyone who created some amazing, DD-worthy artwork. Plus it has a delicious milk chocolate center! And why not, let's throw some of that 3 Musketeers whipped chocolate into the mix as well just for the heck of it!

Acid Party by *Neumorin is just one of those deviations that's so whacked-out, creative & fun that you just can't help but stare at it over & over & over. With funky & bright colors, a cool & trippy style & designs, & the aforementioned hypnotic feeling it delivers via the sickness-induced craziness, there is just no way you can look at this without thinking "WHOA, is that amazing!"



~MidnightCity is one of those artists who just always seems to come up with a variety of innovative creature designs, & Death Valley is no exception. The style, colors, details, etc. are all amazing as usual, but it's the concept here - Actually personifying (or even athromophicizing, in a way) a U.S. landmark - That really shows how creative & awe-inspiring this drawing is. Bravo, dammit!



Candy Painted World is a damn fine example of the kind of work I truly admire. So cheerful, so twisted, so surreal, so colorful, so stylish, so well-detailed, so creative...& so damn awesome overall. Seriously, this is one funky monster design that you can't resist. And make sure to check out the rest of *squeedgemonster's gallery for more wicked stuff like this!



A cool twist on the classic Nintendo character, Yoshi is given quite the cool little makeover courtesy of *Poison-Poptart's sweet & unique style. And thanks to some nice colors, wicked design, & several cool details (love the clothing here), this pic of a humanized dino becomes even more memorable & kickass then one would expect. And come on, tell me you wouldn't want to hang out with this guy.



Plain & simple, Babyboss 2nd Ad and logo-final by ~machine56 is a perfect example of one creative & memorable advertisement. Cool little characters, sweet bursts of color, amazing & unique style, a great amount of detail, nice layout...Frankly, there's nothing about this little cartoon/ad that isn't lovable! So what are you waiting for? fave this already!



Okay, why the [INSERT EXPLETIVE HERE] hasn't ~Dirty-pup gotten a DD yet? His gallery is chock full of such creative & underrated deviations such as Wood is good which showcase a cool & innovative style, wicked & fresh character designs, loads of detail, & an overall intense atmosphere. I know I've said this before, but if you can't bring yourself to love anything as sweet as this, then you have no soul.



MESSY by ~saddo-jdero more than lives up to its name...But definitely in a good way. Jam-packed full of several funky little designs, a lovable, psychedelic style, a nice & effective color scheme, an overall trippy feeling, & several detailed bursts of pure awesomeness, this is one wicked drawing that easily deserves all the attention it can get (& would indeed look cool projected on the side of a huge building).



Yeah, yeah, so it's not the holidays anymore...But ~runeechan's artwork is always just so damn charming year-round that I couldn't resist featuring something like My Kid and Twins here. That lovable style, those creative & cute characters, the great coloring, the warm & cheerful feeling it just seems to give out. It's just so sweet overall...& Runee says it's not even one of her best! Man, impossible to believe that...



Being a huge fan & avid reader of EGM, there was just no way that I could resist RoboRock by ~adrianperezacosta. A lovely, stylish & well-detailed piece of work featuring perfect retro-meets-new school renditions of the mag's little robot awards? Well now, that's something appropriately award-worthy itself! Plus, how can you not love watching a bunch of robots play Rock Band?
