The old Washington Artists group, which has been inactive for some time now, is now being revived! It is intended for all Washington State deviants. It's intention is to foster constructive criticism and critique among its members in Washington, as well as open deviants' eyes to the artists who are pretty much they're neighbors!

There is a general understanding that there are too many useless comments on Deviant Art and not enough constructive criticism. Hopefully by narrowing our focus to artists in this state only, we will help our members achieve the criticism they deserve!

Its also general knowledge that there are tons of artists around the world. That they are all over the place. However, how many of you actually know any that are in your same area? You'd be surprised how many you can find within a mile of your front door! With this club, you can find artists who share interests, or medias even, with you. Chat with people who's art is very likely affected by not only current events, but local events!

Even if you don't plan on interacting with other WA-deviants much, you should still join to give the other Washington-based deviants a chance to see they aren't alone!

In order to be a member of this group all you need to do is watch the group, and then send us a message with the word "join" and what city in Washington State you live in. We will in turn watch you and add you to the members list.

We plan on featuring at least one Washington artist per month. Problem is, we need a subscription. I plan on getting a subscription for it as soon as I get a means in using money digitally. But currently there is nothing we can do for this.

As for when we do have a subscription, to become a featured artist please send us an application to be chosen for featured artist by sending a note with your name or screen name, location, and 5 examples of your work.

Also, any places your art is currently being shown in state would be an awesome addition to your feature, more publicity for any and our members can all come check out your stuff!
