Contest Details.

This is a repost of anther entry i made, but we are looking for way more entries! You can choose any theme you want and any emotions or characters, even add your own character into the picture too!


Nakai and I have decided to do a new contest for our up and coming Novel ‘ Prophecy Born ’ (working title may change).

For this contest we will supply basic details from our writing and its up to you to make a character design for any of our main characters from the novel. There are only a few things to keep in mind when starting to design your submission

1. Dakarai have very blonde hair or platinum hair
2. Blue or green eyes only
3. Very pale skin
4. Every Dakarai’s spirit has two parts. The Dakarai half and the wolf half that protects them and provides their old magic. Obviously the Alpha wolf will be shared with the strongest dakarai aka The king. The further away from the royal bloodline you are the weaker the wolf spirit and magic. Most commoners second half of the spirit is dormant. If in dire need, the wolf half of the personality shall become more dominant and is often bloodthirsty and irratic
5. They are a very pretty and petite race.
6. Dakarai means wolf when translated.


For the Sharr,
1.Very aristocratic peoples
2.Can have any color of hair or eyes, although the majority have darker hair.
3.The main source of their magical abilities envolve Visions: Maurs – White (Concious) Black (Envading others minds when sleeping) and Grey – Uncontrolled and dangerous
4.Very few of of shars even nobility are still able to Maur or have the ability to do blood magic.
5.Have an intense dislike of Dakarai and are in in social uproar with in their own country.


Feel free to go as wild as you like with this. Remember creativity counts! You may draw her with your character, alone, or another character from the story. All media except for written work WILL be excepted!

This exerpt purposfully leaves it open to your imagination from her outfit to the length of her hair, jewlery or pets.

This contest will be judged on creativity, originality, attention character detail, and basic drawing skills (only about 10%) There will be two of us judging,

PLEASE NOTE: WE WILL CANCEL THE CONTEST IF UNDER 5 SUBMISSIONS! We would like to have as many submissions as possible! And remember you are welcome to do more then one piece for this contest. Tell your friends!

1st Prize is a full commission of your choice which includes a full size print sent directly to you and a copy of our novel once printed ( could take awhile but will get to you eventually!)

2nd Prize Is a full commission of your choice and print sent directly to you

3rd Prize is half body commission (digitally painted) with postcard size print sent directly to you.

More prizes may be added depending on amount of submissions! If anyone is willing to donate prizes please we want this to be big!

Now for the character details:

Dakarai

Shiah – Dakarai princess and youngest child. There are a few pictures in my gallery for basic guidelines of what she looks like. Look for the ‘Royal Portriate’ Image in my gallery for picture of her and her brothers.

Mirar – Mirar is the current leader of the Dakarai and eldest child. He is tall and very broody with a bad temper.
Blaise – is Mirar’s Identical twin and younger brother. Middle child. He is Mirar’s support and often trades places with him when he gets over loaded.

Mikala – She is Shiah’s best friend and loyal servent. Very loyal to the Dakarai and Despises the Shar. was kind enough to do an art trade with me and has done an amazing job designing her! There is a picture in my Journal or in her gallery.

Zadian – Loyal soldier and friend of Shiah’s he was recruited from the stables and given a chance at Shiah’s request. Is currently Shiah’s crush. There are no pictures or designs of him so do what ever you like!!

Sharr

Aidan – He is the right hand man of Lumani and a street runner. He is very strong and very powerful. He can Maur on command and is very loyal to Lumani. Na’imah was his partner and lover, after she caught him cheating she left and is now with Lumani. There is a picture of Aidan and Na’imah in my gallery for reference and also shows the feelings between them still. It is called Trepidion

Na’imah – Na’imah was fouund on the streets by Aidan when she was younger after he had a vision of her. She was his partner and is now with Lumani. She has a very small ability to Maur but can’t do it on command.

Lumani – He is very crule and somewhat insane in his desire to capture the Dakarai Princess and unleash Lyis. Lumani is currently attempting to take over the throne in the unstable country and he believes that by taking a dakarai princess as his queen he will be able to take over Dakarai as well. There are one picture in my galllery of Shiah and him called Dreaming of you - rough

La’Kiana – Is of the current noble family of the Shar and feels that Na’imah unworthy of Lumani’s attentions and thinks of her as a commoner. She isn’t afraid to belittle her and is attempting to steal Lumani to reuinte the shar kingdome. She is a new character we are adding and doesn’t have any current designs although she is beautiful.




(This is just a few bits of the story line. It would take forever to expain it all. It is much more complicated then this when you add some of the unique magic elements we have added to this.)

Here is the Prophecy: "When Dakarai blood stains the stones of Serei, the earth shall shift and return the sword of Tamarri. At the second birth of the new moon, Dakarai white shall fall to black. Then shall Lyis be found and Dakarai crumble to nothing."

The late king was killed on the outskirts of Serei on the 12th day of Surizon. His means of death has yet to be discovered, however he was found amongst the rocks scattered along the shore of Lake Lurro.
- 14th Surizon
The first earthquake struck the south quarter of Serei on the 23 of Surizon. The second stuck two days later in the southern district. The Princes have taken over power but as of yet, they have not found the reason behind the quakes.
- 25th Surizon
Prince Blaise has left under orders of his brother the Prince Royal. His reason for leaving is as of yet unknown. The 7th earthquake struck in the northern district. The worst as of yet. Prince Mirrar is faced with the dilemma of choosing a queen.
