SPAMMERS

We all know it happens. Some jerk comes to your page and leaves you a nasty comment for no reason whatsoever or flames you openly.

If it happens, You can stop it by:
-Hiding the Comment
-Blocking the spamming user

And the big one:
-Do NOT respond!

If you don't respond, the spammer will not have motive to spam you multiple times. They was your reaction. They want to see you upset. Take it subtly, and just let it slide by. They won't spam you again.

Also, be sure to contact the dA help desk and ask that user to be banned, or talk with someone. Depending on the comment, they could be suspended, or banned.

HACKERS

How To Prevent Account Hackers:

-Have a good password that's really hard to figure out. Like, your brithday, your main character, your name, all that is not a good password! Do one like, 02040608, or Beta02040608Fish or something that may make no sense to others. Like, maybe the name of somewhere that you went at one point in your life that's unforgettable.

-Stay clear from nosy people, and people who strongly hate you. Don't try and make friends, they'll try and hack your account or do something to make you upset.

If Your Account gets Hacked:

-Apologize to all that saw whatever the hacker did. Make sure they know it was a hacker, not you. Try and match the way the hacker spoke with someone else you know, and if you can't, just notify dA.

-CHANGE YOUR PASSWORD IMMEADIATLY.

-Change your e-mail password immediatly. The hacker could've hacked your email to find your password for dA.
