I've been wanting to put a huuuge splash of colour up here for a long time, and as I don't know what tomorrow brings, I thought I'd get on and do this project right now. (It IS Tuesday in some parts of the globe in any case!!)

Thoughts

I fall out of love, and then back in love with fractals!

Why?

I'm not sure, but there's something about fractals that either repel me for short periods of time (possibly when I'm over-saturated by their glorious appearance), or on the other hand, they inexplicably draw me to them at a deep level.

I put the deep-level appreciation down to a kind of analogy in Creation. Those of you who know me, know I believe in God's Creation by Design. To me, the infinitesimal qualities of a fractal are somehow symbolic of this Grand Design, to which there is no beginning and no end. The Maths behind them is surely on a par with the inherent Maths involved in Creation by Design... I don't believe any of these things were an accident, 'though I do believe God can do in one second what man may take centuries to produce!

The changes in an individual's moods can have a huge effect on what we're able to drink in at any given time. In all forms of art there is so much to see and appreciate, but ultimately, nothing that's created by an artist surpasses the spectrum of colour that can be found in a well-designed fractal produced by one with that keen sense of composition and presentation in mind.
