What a Vexel Is: The Official dA Definition

reports, July 7Influenced by recent dispute, it has been decided that it is time to make a solidified definition of what a vexel is by deviantART's terms. Please understand that this definition, and the rules along with it, are not made up from a few of the gallery moderator's thoughts, but built from the foundation of what the creator's words on 'vexel' were, and what the majority of the vexel community of deviantART has come to accept as a vexel. These rules are solid, final, and most-likely will not be faltered.

Director of Artist Relations
Hello!
The purpose of Artist Relations is to strengthen the community spirit as well as network with fellow artists so that we may bring outside opportunities to you, and help you to hone your skills. The Gallery Directors are the first people you should go to regarding your galleries. They are the people you need to make gallery suggestions to, and ask questions about your specific genre, or seek knowledge from. They also act as your lifeline to the administration. They are here to support and listen, and I can tell you we've got incredibly talented, devoted and passionate people on this team, so get to know them!

It's official, $FallenRox belongs to me... <insert diabolical laughter>. Please join us in congratulating her in her new position as Assistant Director of Artist Relations. You can read all about it here deviantWEAR said my favorite word.. SALE!! That's right SAAAAAAAAAAAAALE read all about it here I'm a women's medium thankyouverymuch Animals, Plants and Nature was Streamlined and you can read about that here. Please keep in mind there are a couple of issues that are being resolved so there's no need to report any errors at this time. It will take time for IT to move all of the deviations into the correct categories so any help you can give is always appreciated. Thank you. There are some residual category issues in Artisan Crafts, mostly with names not matching up with the browse menu and that's being addressed. Your patience is appreciated. I'm still waiting for people to vote on the fate of the "Human Closeups aka Body Landscapes" category so get your vote in here before it's gone forever. I have posted a list of the areas I will be looking to fill in Artist Relations here PLEASE take your time and write a proper note to myself and $FallenRox because traditionally, I announce openings and it results in hundreds of "OMGOMG UR bEsT I wAnNa Be Gd" and that doesn't usually give me the warm fuzzies
